My Philosophy

I believe in the beauty of people and the magic of marriage.

The wedding is only the beginning- but what a beginning!!!!! I love the stories before the wedding day. The two journeys merging into one in a fabulous celebration!

A wedding is about coming to a place of trust, respect, honour and recognising the committment, hope, possibility and endurance that it requires to last.

It is worth celebrating! It is worth remembering!

When I photograph a wedding, I strive to create images that portray the  people who are being married, the depth of their relationship and love,  the sense of occasion, their personality and the way they interact with each other.  As well as capturing the love you both have for each other, I do not forget about the love that is expressed for you by your family and friends. It is seen  in the hugs, the kisses, the tears and smiles of your guests as they celebrate with you on this glorious day. It is in these spontaneous encounters that I see some of the most beautiful moments… I do not let them slip away. They are yours to treasure.

I am so privileged to be  part of a couple’s wedding day. To be involved as the day unfolds and precious memories are made. I have the awesome honour of catching these memories and turning them into beautiful works of art and timeless, priceless pieces of your history. Photographs are among the most important, valuable possessions you own, they are an ever open window into our past which brings it alive again.
