Rachel Callander has been passionate about photography since she was given her first camera at age 11. To be a photographer is to write with light. Rachel loves to write your story, your love, your life, creating magic out of moments.
Rachel graduated in 2005 with a BFA majoring in photography, married Sam Callander in 2006 (gaining a fabulous surname in the process), and became mum to precious angel Evie Amore in 2008. She was accepted into the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography (NZIPP) in 2007, and was named the NZIPP Wedding Photographer of the year in 2011.
Callander Girl Photography is both Rachel's work and her passion - an extension of herself and her creativity.
